The name LOOP signifies our belief that all things on Earth are operating in a closed-loop system. We respect this by creating organic cotton products that have as little impact on the environment as possible. LOOP has been dedicated to manufacturing and delivering quality organic linens and natural organic bedding for over 10 years.
LOOP produces high quality linens that are good for people and the environment. It is our mission to educate the public on the ill-effects of conventional cotton growing, to help encourage the organic-choice, and to deliver products that will be enjoyed and cherished everyday.
No harsh chemicals
All of the production processes are free from known carcinogens and heavy-metals. Chemical-free alternatives are used during the finishing process, for instance hydrogen peroxide is used for whitening in lieu of chlorine bleach. Even the low-impact dyes which are used are certified organic. LOOP products have even been proven safe enough for many with acute allergies and chemical sensitivities.
Finished for softness
Many things go into making a fabric soft, not just the thread count. First we begin with high quality cotton fiber and yarn, which is then woven by highly experienced weavers. Then in the final processes of finishing, the fabric is softened and preshrunk.
Organic and fair trade
All LOOP products are made of fabrics that are certified to the most stringent set of standards for organic cloth (GOTS), and are manufactured in accordance to fair trade guidelines. Being certified by GOTS means more than just “organic.” Certain social criteria must also be met, for instance: no child labor, fair pay, and clean safe working environments.
Made in the USA
Most of our products are made in the USA, and made from cotton grown in the USA. We do this because we believe in helping to support jobs at home. And the benefits of the organic farming help to keep American soil healthy. Buying US-made organic goods helps keep America healthy and happy.
At LOOP we always consider the social and environmental impact of our important business decisions, and then choose the most favorable options that we can. Sourcing domestically, means that there is much less impact on the environment when goods are not being shipped overseas. And you will see that all of our products come packaged in simple cloth and brown paper packaging. Please recycle.
