LOOP organic cotton sheets & organic towels
The name LOOP signifies our belief that all things on Earth are operating in a closed-loop system.
We respect this by creating organic cotton sheets and organic towels that have as
little impact on the environment as possible.
Our organic cotton sheets and towels
use only certified organic cotton and no harmful chemicals during the entire process. They are certified to the most stringent set
of standards for organic cloth (GOTS), and are made according to fair trade guidelines.

The ‘all natural’ image of cotton is very misleading,
since normal cotton production uses some of the most chemical pesticides by volume of any crop, second only to corn, and some
of the most toxic.
Once the cotton is grown, textile production and finishing uses
an array of harmful, or cancer-causing chemicals including arsenic,
formaldehyde and heavy-metal dyes.

Facts about conventional cotton:
Uses 2.03 billion pounds of synthetic fertilizers per year
Uses 25% of
the world’s insecticides
Uses 84 million
pounds of pesticides per year

These chemicals make their way back into our food chain; through
the cottonseed used to feed dairy and beef cattle, through
cottonseed oil commonly used in snack foods, and into the groundwater
many rely on for drinking. So buying organic textiles helps protect our environment as well as our food chain.
